I've always written what I love to read. I love urban fantasy and paranormal romance because there's an element of surprise to it -- you really are taken into another world full of wonderful and scary things. And it just so happens I have credit at Powells City of Books :) Thanks for the great interview. I'm fascinated by how many writers also make jewelry. It must be another way for us to take little nonsensical bits of things and make them into something whole and meaningful. Or maybe we just get tired of typing and need another way to give ourselve RSIs.

Thanks Carrie, for the great interview -- and for making me sound good. lol.

And thanks to all of you who have bought the book. I was so nervous about this one!

I loooove making jewelry and makeup, though the makeup is messier. I've been trying to teach myself how to sew as well, but it's not so good. :-)

I wonder if there's a connection to imagination and lucid dreaming, because I've met a fair number of authors who can take control of their dreams. Neat.
