He's curious... akaj1sh1 August 31 2010, 03:03:03 UTC
So... does this means that you'll have some post coming all the way from Japan?

Nope~ Mama lives in England but she has connections in Japan. I hate translated material.

HE DID NOT READ THAT LAST SENTENCE!!! 1/3 akaj1sh1 August 31 2010, 04:34:41 UTC
[Ah, that makes complete sense.]

I know what you mean. When it comes to manga, it really is best to read the original. Sometimes the translators don't do justice to the mangaka's work, even if they attempt to do so. Not to mention that some slang in Japanese really can't be translated into English.

Boys love; the sweet forbidden desire of love and lust between two guys.

I suppose not, but that's one of the best things about the storyline!

What's a manga?

fangirlmagic August 31 2010, 21:51:11 UTC
It's like an English comic book, but you read from left to right.

But that's backwards.

fangirlmagic August 31 2010, 22:13:14 UTC
That's because it's in Japanese, and even the translated volumes have stayed from left to right to give it that more authentic feeling, but it's not the same translated.

This year will be much better with manga! Just think, we won't have to stay up for several days at the start of the holidays to catch up!

But I hope there was more than just BL manga on the list you left your mother, Karisawa!

Of course there was, Yumacchi! I specifically requested two copies of Dengeki Bunko and SJ each, so we can be up to date with everything!

Pity about Grand Line Adventures being on hiatus for a month, though the creator does need a break!
