My pleasure! One of the things I most enjoy about the tour is the opportunity to explore new (to me) fandoms and ships, as well as introduce my favorites to others. It's a beautiful thing.

Thank you so much! These look wonderful!

There is not, as far as I am aware, any organized sort of fandom for Asylum, which featured Julian Barratt in the role of asylum inmate Victor, before the days of the Mighty Boosh and all the double-act business that's followed.

Well, there's a crossover fanfic for it and tag for it here now, so maybe that's a start. ;)

You're welcome! It's been my pleasure and honor to rec, so thanks for having me! And for, you know, making all this possible. I really do love the tour. :D

Ha! Well, that is true, and it had to start somewhere. Thank you for the tag!

Wow! I love Sherlock Holmes BBC. Great to have some recs in this relatively new fandom. And Woot! I've been wondering what Pir8fancier has been up to. That's worth reading for sure. Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome! It's my pleasure to share, believe me. I hope you enjoy these! :D

I've really been charmed by the BBC Sherlock, and the fandom is producing some very wonderful, high-quality writing. And yes, pir8fancier has been writing in the this fandom as well. It was a struggle to select only one of her stories, so you should definitely read them all. ;-)

Thank you! I certainly will.

You're making me so curious about the Mighty Boosh fandom though. Never heard of it. Book? Movie? TV? When life calms down I may dive in. :D

I am personally extremely fond of the Mighty Boosh fandom, although I am biased. It's a British cult comedy featuring Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding as best-friends-for-life-and-maybe-more Howard Moon and Vince Noir. It's a bit difficult to describe, as it's not a traditional comedy in most respects and has certain surreal and fantastical elements, as Howard and Vince have all sorts of outrageous adventures together. But at heart, it's always about the friendship (and romantic/sexual tension) between Howard and Vince. I've heard it described as a kid's show for adults, and I think that's at least partially accurate, because there is a very sunny, sincere, uncynical feel to it. If you like the odd-couple, bantery, together-they-make-one-functional-person dynamic of the Sherlock/John relationship, then you might well like the Boosh, because Vince and Howard have a similar dynamic ( ... )

Sherlock and Good Omens and Mighty Boosh, oh my! So many wonderful recs that I can't wait to delve into. I enjoy how your recs are as inspired and lyrical as the fics they are recommending; absolutely lovely to read. Do you happen to have a reccing site/journal? I would love to follow it &hearts

I wasn't able to access Away with Words; do you know of another place I could find it? All of your recs have been added to the Fangirl Tour delicious account. Thanks for posting!

Oh my, thank you! &hearts And thank you so much for maintaining the delicious bookmarks; they're such a wonderful resource.

I'm glad you enjoyed the recs, and I hope you enjoy the works recced. I don't actually have a reccing site of my own, but I do love reccing, so I volunteer regularly at crack_broom and sometimes subject my poor flist to random recs for things I've discovered. *g*

Thanks for alerting me to the issue with Away with Words! I hadn't realized that it was locked. I'll have a word with the author and see if she has an unlocked version available, or if she'd consider unlocking this one. It's not at all smutty, so there's no community need for it to be locked. I suspect she might just have done it out of habit.
