I am personally extremely fond of the Mighty Boosh fandom, although I am biased. It's a British cult comedy featuring Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding as best-friends-for-life-and-maybe-more Howard Moon and Vince Noir. It's a bit difficult to describe, as it's not a traditional comedy in most respects and has certain surreal and fantastical elements, as Howard and Vince have all sorts of outrageous adventures together. But at heart, it's always about the friendship (and romantic/sexual tension) between Howard and Vince. I've heard it described as a kid's show for adults, and I think that's at least partially accurate, because there is a very sunny, sincere, uncynical feel to it. If you like the odd-couple, bantery, together-they-make-one-functional-person dynamic of the Sherlock/John relationship, then you might well like the Boosh, because Vince and Howard have a similar dynamic.

They did three television series for BBC 3, a radio show for the BBC, and a number of live shows. My recommendation is to start with the first series of the television show, and then explore from there. I hope you enjoy it!
