Stories for a Monday of Meetings

Mar 10, 2008 10:53

Jumping in very quickly to post these stories. When I developed this list, I thought about the stories that I read over and over again and still find something new within their text.

Stories for a Monday of Meetings, in no particular order )

Ooooh! I love you! Wimsey and Vane. Russell and Holmes. Snape and Granger. These are a few of my favorite things. Now if I could just take a few months off and do nothing but read...

"The Best Revenge" is absolutely fabulous :)

Putting a pairing in the rec would help to choose what to read

I don't really do descriptions like that. I believe the reader should try new things sight unseen. Take a risk, see what happens. And, I am not consistent in this policy either.

This is your choice, of course.

I believe I tried everything in HP fandom (genre-, pairing- and kinkwise) and some things just don't work for me, no matter the author. Combined with permanent lack of time and constantly growing 'to read' list it would be suicidal for me to try everything. IMHO recs are meant to make the choice easier and save our time.

These days when I stumble across a pairing that had never worked for me I just hit 'back' button and with my dial-up connection... ;)

~nods~ And that's your choice. I never set up the Fangirl Tour to adhere to strict rules and regulations. Some want to approach it with a sense of adventure, others prefer something more structured. Both options are fine.

There will be something for everyone before it's all over. ;)

OH ... heh ... just realised. We're having risotto with chestnuts and red wine tonight :) Coincidence? Serendipity?
