Stories for a Monday of Meetings

Jumping in very quickly to post these stories. When I developed this list, I thought about the stories that I read over and over again and still find something new within their text.

Peter Wimsey/Harriet Vane, Dorothy L. Sayers

The Conscience of the Queen
, By by Ione

Fabulous story written after the principals have been married. Harriet has a mystery to solve. We see the return of several past characters from the Lord Peter Wimsey canon.

Ducenti Quinquaginta, By by Willow Smith

What happens after Gaudy Night ends?

The First Year After, By by Nineveh_uk

The first year after Strong Poison, the author's summary is " In the year after Harriet Vane is acquitted of murder, she, Peter, and Charles Parker must learn to live with one another."

Appealing to Aengus, by Niamh St. George

A dinner at Oxford at the high table with dueling quotations, what more could one want?

Marry Russell/ Sherlock Holmes, Laurie King

Into a Fine Distraction, By Vestige of Femininity

A wonderful novel length fic that takes place in Italy.

Harry Potter, JK Rowling

Unforgiven, By LadyRhiyana

A Draco/Ginny that speculates on the nature of Pureblood magic and what that means. I am fascinated by her idea of the Malfoy.

Cheat the Devil, by Leni Jess

Fabulous, absolutely fabulous. I am always on the look out for stories with adult characters and this is one of the best.

The Best Revenge, By Scattered Logic

Lucius, Hermione and a quite fine revenge; again, I like adults and these characters are adult. The revenge is perfect and served well chilled.

Man of Property, By Josan

Severus Snape buys a house.

Complexities , By Bambu

While we're on the subject of house porn...

Big Name Death Eater, by Shiv5468

Funny and funnier every time I read it; Smudger remains one of my absolute favorite characters -- don't tell Tant'Avice.

Round Midnight, by Domina

The story that started me into fanfic. Still a favorite.

!official fangirl tour stop, mary russell, harry potter, lord peter wimsey
