GATTACA style future semi-dystopia, where children are generally created from selected genetic material. People are engineered to be difficult to turn, and given drugs to keep them from being palatable. Frank was born naturally, and as a result has trouble with the drugs, which actually make him ill -- and when he manages to avoid being dosed, discovers music -- something people don't pay as much attention to anymore. Gerard can scent him out, as someone who smells actually edible, and the rest is history.

Maybe it was a bit ridiculous that Frank was curled up in a ball in the bathtub, since the bathroom was the closest place he could run to. Maybe it was pathetic that he was hiding from the person he used to feel safe with. He didn't want to be scared, but he was.

He never has to leave his office, he'd rather find the bad guy/ghoul from the comfort of his rolling chair and laptop, but his boss, Bob Bryar has a different idea this time. He needs someone to travel with the Way team to Belleville New Jersey to take of care of someone harvesting the souls of humans.
A criminal minds type AU with Mikey and Gerard as Vampires, Frank the halfling who's afraid of his vampire half, and Ray, the group's warlock.
