Another fantastic chapter. I get so pulled in as I read it. Not only on one side but for both Kevin and Scotty. With one breath I'm sitting here saying ah come on Kevin and then with the next its ok to be scared, give him some time Scotty/family. You are portraying this situation so well it's hard not to get wrapped up.

good chapter. I liked the sweet interactions coupled with the uncertainty of their relationship. The scene in the park was lovely. Can't wait for more!

The scene in the park made me wish I was any good at drawing. I swear, as I wrote it I could see it so clearly...

That was a lovely chapter :) I loved it all: their conversation in the beginning; the scene in the park (poor Scotty...I wasn't expecting it to go that way); and the argument with Kitty too (very true to their characters). I can't wait more more!

Thanks! And honestly, I wasn't expecting the scene in the park to go that way, either - Scotty-in-my-head just took over and insisted on it. And Kitty! I've never been able to write Kitty, but put her in an argument with Kevin, and she shines.

Jason just really belongs in all this, since he was in a fairly similar situation with Kevin way back when... And I can't help but think that the three of them are tentative friends. They share a nephew, after all, and then there's Kevin's close relationship with Robert.
