Thankful Tuesday

Mar 02, 2010 20:40

This has been a horrible week already and we're only a couple days into it.  We're having house problems that are going to require *expensive* repairs.  Yesterday while shopping, I slipped on some crystallized snow while getting into my car and sprained my ankle.  I've been so stressed by everything that I'm sick to my stomach and can hardly eat.  ( Read more... )

grateful, bumps in the road, don't mind me, one of those days

Thanks. Yesterday wasn't so bad in the fact that no new catastrophes cropped up. But it was still a long day. Still trying to focus on the blessings though. It's definitely helping.

I offer my support and a new book. Have you already found The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan? If not, go find it. It's awesome.

*hugs*

Thanks for the support. :)

I have read that book. Normally zombies and other scary things aren't for me, but everyone was praising it so highly when it came out that I caved and read it. All I can say is, WOW! I've got the sequel preordered already.

Thanks. We did have one victory this week: When we discovered a headlight was out on one of our cars, we were able to fix it without much drama. :)

(((HUG))) This too shall pass.

That's why I do Friday Fives. So I always look to the positive for the week. I like your list. The Lonely Heart's Club by Elizabeth Eulberg is funny and really good. It's YA. If you need a laugh, it may be worth checking in to. But you seem tight on time. But just a thought.

Thanks. So far no new catastrophes, though we're still doing damage control with the current ones. Hopefully it'll be over soon and won't take too huge of a hit to the wallet.

I haven't read that book, but I've heard of it. Going to add it to my TBR list now. Thanks. :)

Thanks, Shea. :) I have to look at the positives otherwise I'd end up on the floor in the fetal position. Don't want that.
