The Park, Saturday Morning

The scenery had changed. Cassandra suspected evil magic, but that ran rampant on this island as it was. That was not a surprise, and so in the morning, she went outside for her usual morning run

Lucille had gone for an early walk. She had left after Cassandra obviously, as she didn't want her friend to think she was following her. It struck her later that there was no reason Cassandra would draw such a conclusion, and despite the fact that her friend would never find out about these thoughts at all (Lucille wasn't going to tell her of course), Lucille felt rather stupid and was staring at her feet.

Until there was a loud thump behind her and the ground trembled. She looked up, confused.

There was someone walking nearby. Cassandra's eyes had caught sight of a hint of a a figure in a dress between the rabbit's paws, and--

"Lucille! Move!"

Lucille looked around in panic when she heard Cassandra's voice, but before she could start to run she felt a strange push against her back. She looked over her shoulder and caught sight of a huge rabbit nose that twitched. Then she bolted, screaming, heading towards Cassandra.

"Get behind me!" Cassandra hollered, dashing forward to try and speed that up a bit.
