Well Billy for one wasn't about to let the thing go to waste. It'd cost an arm and a leg by 19th century standards.

But for now, he was just enjoying the companionable silence before Goody could work himself up into some tizzy about... everything.

He would be wounded by the implication that he would be dramatic about something. Deeply wounded.

"I should have taken you to New Orleans," Goody lamented suddenly. "For proper coffee and beignets."

There were seriously a lot of 'should haves' going on with him this weekend.

"Goody." Look, if Louisiana was anything like Texas, Billy would have ended up stabbing some idiot in a bar.

"I should have," Goody insisted, despite the sheer exasperation Billy managed to pour into his name. Which wasn't fair in the slightest, Mr. Rocks.

Faraday didn't want to intrude, because that way lay a stabbing, he feared, but he did really, really need coffee, and it didn't feel right to just ignore his murder buddies (both in the sense that they had all gotten murdered together and had murdered a lot of people together (good times)), so...

"Goody." Pause. "Billy." Respectful nod.

"Faraday," Billy replied. He certainly looked like he was in a better mood than the last time he'd talked to Faraday. So that was something.

"Mr. Faraday, are you here to join us on this fine morning?" Goody asked, gesturing with his basic as fuck latte.

"Oh, I wouldn't want to intrude," Faraday said, eyeing Billy with the wariness of one who had seen him kill a man with his hairpin.
