The concessions were moddably stocked with all sorts of typical carnival fare, from kettle corn, sodas, and cotton candy, to old-timey taffy and sticky candied apples.

By the time Dante made it to the carnival, it was pretty late in the afternoon. But that wasn't going to stop him from digging into the food. So yes, he was over here, getting a ton of anything that looked sweet.

Ringo didn't try to sneak up on Dante. She probably couldn't even if she wanted to. But she did just reach out to try to steal some food from his plate.

Which, again, probably not something she could do if he wasn't feeling tolerant.

"What's up?" she asked as she made her grab, as if talking might distract him.

Dante managed the impressive feat of reaching up to grab her wrist while he rolled his eyes at the same time.

As usual, there were tables with blue and gold-checkered tableclothes spread out on this section of the grounds, with glittery centerpieces.

There'd been complaints about the lack of glitter last year from the squirrels, possibly, so appropriate measures had to be taken.

Lucille had picked up food and drink and found a table. It had glitter on it. They all had glitter on it. She did her best not to get any in her food, but it kept sticking to her fingers, and then on her dress. Lucille didn't look entirely pleased about this.

"Oooh, your dress is all sparkly!" Ringo, at least, sounded like she approved of that.

It was warm enough that Ringo was wearing shorts and a tshirt, so her arms and legs were pretty glittery themselves.
