Unlike most 3MDs, there didn't seem to be a host. The zombies were just set up, all quiet, when the lights went out.

After a few moments, music started to play. A man's voice started to sing "Ooooooooh" while backing vocals repeated "come on

Awake and back at the OCD. Apologies for the delay. Long week is over, time for the weekend to begin in earnest!

"Hey, Frank," Ada said cheerfully, taking her seat. "How's your night goin' so far?"

Frank put four shots on the table since at this point those glasses were just easier to carry in the proper quantity.

"I'm taking full advantage of the opportunities presented," Frank said, talking about the open bar. "It makes for a fun night. How about you?"

"Pretty much the same," Ada admitted, because the best way to deal with upcoming PW trauma was hanging out at Caritas. "Tried anything interesting tonight that I should give a go?"

Frank was cute, but Ada was pretty sure he was alcohol-sexual. Which meant he could at least give her good advice on drinks for tonight.

In theory, Frank was interested in girls. But there was trauma in his not-too-distant past and alcohol in his immediate vicinity, so that's the direction his interest really swung toward. "I started the night with a Ritz-Paris Sidecar. The way I see it, if you're going to have an open bar, you'd better be prepared for anything."

"Yeah? What's th' sidecar?" she asked, glancing towards the bar. "I wanna try a few new things t'night, an' 'm normally a gin girl. I don't know too much about drinks b'sides whatever people spike th' punch with at th' dance."

"It's a ridiculously expensive cocktail with cognac. A single glass made in Paris costs over a thousand dollars. But open bars mean money is literally no object for me," Frank said. He slid one of his shots over. "Try one of these. It's a rare bourbon called Pappy Van Winkle that even the super rich have trouble getting. Only a small number of bottles are produced each year, so it deserves to be drunk by high school students for free."

"Can't argue with that logic," she laughed, picking it up and taking a sip. Ada hadn't really ever had bourbon, but she knew enough from her cousins that it was a sipping drink and not actually a shooting-drink.

"Oh. Huh." She blinked at the shot glass. "It's...fruity? Ish? I wasn't really expectin' that."

If it wasn't a shooting drink, then why had Frank already done two shots? "Does it taste fruityish, or does fruit taste Pappyish?" Frank asked. "That's a legitimate question. I can't remember the last time I bothered with a fruit that wasn't part of a cocktail."

Ada took another, bigger, drink as she considered this. "Like fruit, but fruit that was grown on whatever trees they make the barrels for Pappy out of," she decided. "Instead a' watering th' tree, they gave it some of this t' drink. So, fruit grown on Pappy then used t' make more Pappy."

It made sense in her head.

"Either you know much more or much less about tree farming than me. Fortunately, it doesn't really matter because it ends up as this regardless of what we know," Frank said before downing the last shot as the sound went off. "It's been nice drinking with you."

Lucille didn't know Ahsoka. Not sure what to expect, she looked at her new date with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.
