The Zin Ship Above Fandom, Sunday Morning and Afternoon

Aug 02, 2015 09:02

Simulation 45y was failing.

Angry red lights were going off everywhere. Along with claxons. Too many claxons. Zin were running around, trying to shut off one claxon after another.

There was a lot of yelling.

And pods kept opening.

That was inconvenient.

The Pods zin_the_matrix August 2 2015, 07:02:45 UTC
Across the ship, there are pods in various places. Some close together, some far apart, all in their own room. These big round pods have big round glass doors, which open automatically when the creature within regains consciousness.

Most of them are opening now. Oops.

The alarms were ringing around this particular pod, all right. Two Zin soldiers approached it warily.

"When it starts to open, you shoot," one muttered to the other.

"If it opens."

"If it op--"

Glass shattered with incredible force, blasting outward and smashing them right in the face.

"Where's the exit?" Atton growled, stepping out of the pod.

Sparkle's first thought when he regained consciousness was, 'Oh, shit. I'm naked.'

Which followed shortly after by, 'That was one hell of a party.'

Which, a few moments later, was joined by the slightly more important, 'Where the fuck am I?'

And that was punctuated by the glass door of his pod opening in front of him.

"Oh, this is fucked up."

So yeah. That would be Sparkle, deciding to make a streak for it. He wasn't a speedster with super-destructive jumps out here, after all. Running until it looked like hiding was the better option seemed like a much more sensible plan of attack than trying to face these goons down head-on.

One second, Anders was letting out his destructive urges by jumping as high as he could and stomping holes in Zin tanks and ships. (It was something special to feel the ground shake when he landed -- almost like being invincible.)

The next, he was gasping for breath as a glass door opened in front of him. He took in the scene, cursed, and scrambled his way out, ready to fight.

The inside of the Zin ship is a maze of corridors and stairs, patrolled by various Zin guards.

Too bad for them they're not really expecting a break-out.

Genuinely too bad, as an angry Jedi burst out of one of the pod rooms. Atton'd fried the door panel's circuits right after hacking into the ship's alarm systems to send a message to his T3-unit - pure pazaak.

He threw the first Zin soldier to come at him back violently with the Force, leaving a sizable dent in the bulkhead on the other side of the hallway. He took off with blazing speed, slipping through the gaps in the blaster fire by instinct, the Force back in his head. He grabbed the second Zin by the head and broke his neck, then threw the gun at the third one to come at him. Pushed off and slammed his foot into the face of the fourth, then hit the corridor to his left with a quick blast of Force lightning.

"By all means, keep coming!" he snapped, tearing into the next hallway. "If any of you schuttas thinks they can stop me, it's their funeral ( ... )

Okay, so the 'run' plan didn't last as long as it could, what with all of the Zin that were out on patrol. Sparkle was not going to call this a disaster. He wasn't. He was going to just... amend his 'run' plan to 'sneak,' and do a whole lot of that instead.

He was looking for a way off the ship. But, you know, he'd settle for some fucking pants, too.

Lucky for Sparkle, then, that the area he had just wandered into was quickly running out of Zin. Very acutely, in fact.

Specifically, one Zin soldier came flying out of a hallway to the right and slammed into the wall to the left. The sound of yelling and gunshots followed right behind.

ESCAPE! zin_the_matrix August 2 2015, 07:03:51 UTC
There are several teleporter rooms all across the ship. Find them and hit a few buttons until they display Fandom - then you can go out.

Or find some other way to break out. Maybe you have friends on the outside?

The Ebon Hawk had deftly dodged incoming fire on its way up to the ship. The T3-unit steered it well, scanning the area until it found an exit hatch that wasn't located near any of the main guns. The ship hovered outside of it for a few long moments; then the ramp lowered in mid-air.

The hatch opened a second later.

T3 let out a long string of high-pitched bells and whistles.

"Doing exactly what I told you to doesn't make you a hero, you self-involved trash compactor!" Atton yelled.

... That wasn't going to stop Sparkle from giving the droid a thumbs-up from just behind Atton, no.

Because, look! A way off the ship! Yes! Best little droid!

The tiny T3 made a whooping noise of happiness in Sparkle's direction in response.

Atton rolled his eyes. He was a great multi-tasker: he could do just that while leaping out of the airlock and onto the loading ramp. "Make yourself useful and get me something to wear," he bellowed at the droid, "Let's get out of here!"

... maybe shoot down a few Zin fighters while they were on the way.

On The Outside zin_the_matrix August 2 2015, 07:04:06 UTC
There seems to be actual commotion on the ship; some of the lights on the outside keep blinking on and off.

Want to head up there and pick up some of your newly-escaped islandmates? Just want to shoot at the ship and see if it dinges anything? Go go!

Feel free to find each other in the halls, or just kick the crap out of whatever Zin you run across. Woo!

Do abductees with powers have their powers back at this point?

Yep! They're only powerless within the sim itself.
