With a peek back to the bar to make sure Tino wasn't doing anything sketchy with his jacket, Johnny sat down and waited for Anna. It wasn't often that he was blackmailed into a brief date with someone he made out with in public once with his girlfriend watching, but such was life. He could be platonically charming despite that.

"Hello again," Anna said brightly as she took the seat opposite Johnny. "So you're calling yourself Joanie today? I didn't see that coming."

She could platonically flirt with a guy she'd kissed once, entirely because of a bottle and while semi-engaged. If she didn't think about it, that would make it not weird.

"The bartender is holding my favorite jacket hostage," Johnny said. "If I didn't read his cue cards, he probably would have damaged it. And I'll be honest, I just have way too many questions about how he even got it or knew that would work against me to not call myself Joanie if it's on his card."

"I don't know that I have a favorite jacket," Anna laughed. "But I hope you get your back safely! I'm fine. I'm wonderful, really. I had a long talk with my sister this week? The kind that's been way, way overdue. And it was good."

She frowned. "Except she and her boyfriend are fighting, and I'm supposed to be helping fix them up again. That part's not good."

Sorry, Barry. It wasn't that she didn't think that part was important. It was that it paled in comparison to ELSA FINALLY TELLING HER THE TRUTH AFTER A DECADE. Which got fireworks and sparklies around it in her mind.

Elsa was not very good at people. Neither was Barry, apparently.

"How was your week?" she asked. "Did you enjoy the cruise?"

"I lounged around and did nothing for a full week. And it was pretty fantastic, thank you for asking," Johnny said. "I'm almost sad to be back to doing things."

"I say stall doing things as long as possible," she grinned. "At least, if they're boring responsible things. Go riding through the halls of the dorm on your bike, and throw parties. Do plenty of irresponsible things, first."

Anna was not very good at being a princess.

"I'm the last person who needs encouragement to be less responsible," Johnny said. "Also, I think it's kind of charming that your ideas of being irresponsible include riding bikes where you're not supposed to. I usually lean towards things that get into the press and have parents calling me a bad role model. Yours is probably less of a headache."

"Probably?" Johnny said. "I don't think I've ever read a newspaper. I mostly get on TMZ or Fox, depending on what kind of thing I did."

"Here's a tip. Partying all night in clubs in big cities is a lot of fun and gets you attention."
