Graduation Brunch, the Park, Early Sunday Afternoon

It was a Fandom tradition that went back... well, at the very least several years: graduation brunch, offering visitors and locals alike the best food available on the island.

There was a banner that stretched from tree to tree declaring CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 2013 in big glittery letters. There were tables full of moddable food and drink.

Ron had taken up near the back of the food and drink section. He had a great deal of fresh pork meat that he was now cutting up and tossing onto the barbecue that he'd brought.

Would he let you have any? It was a fifty-fifty chance.

April was here for one reason and one reason only, and that was the pork meat. She had with her a small plastic container, in which she planned to store said pork meat until she could take it back to her apartment and stick it in the fridge to enjoy after she napped.

She watched Ron grill silently until it looked like he had finished a round of meat, then approached and extended her Tupperware out to him to put food into without saying a word.

The way he said it, it sounded more like a statement than anything that required an answer.

He eyed her Tupperware. "You've come here to get some meat."

There's seating for everyone who wants to sit down and do their mingling with a plate of food in front of them.

Natalie's parents were en route back to Montreal. Natalie was intending to join them soon enough. She really was overdue for a trip home.

But first, she got some food and sat down by a table. To people watch for a bit before heading to the dorms to grab some stuff to take home with her.

Sarah wasn't brooding. But she was on break, and that meant she wasn't hugely interested in dealing with students and their guests and whatever.

So she just got herself some food, then backed out to the edge of the park to enjoy it.
