Glitter seemed to be a theme of the evening. There was glitter on the
posters covering the walls, glitter on the
plants printed on table cloths. Glitter on the fake full moon hanging in place of a mirror ball.
And of course, glitter on the banner hanging above the entrance.

Well, Kaidan would be over here, in dress uniform, looking both stoic and vaguely uncomfortable (it was a skill).

He wasn't even hiding behind his coat collar, having opted for a turtleneck (worn properly instead of with the collar up over his mouth) and a pair of black jeans this evening.
He figured he really didn't have anybody to impress, and even working a few jobs, he couldn't afford a suit that actually fit him.

He was totally watching their feet now. It meant he didn't get a pretty view of Billy, but it was probably safer that way.
