Caroline raised an eyebrow at him as she set her umbrella in the stand and started shrugging off her coat. "Seriously? You want to try fifty-some-odd flavors in one sitting?"

Jake smirked at her. "You think you can't handle it?" he asked, possibly just asking for trouble and forgetting that even he would get tired of it.

"I think my tongue might freeze eventually," Caroline pointed out, still thinking ice cream in the middle of winter was mildly idiotic.
