Didi was still without her ankh, and it had her restless.

She expressed this by taking apart the Squishy machine again. She didn't think the sigil was in there -- not unless it time traveled, anyhow -- but it gave her something to do with her hands, and she'd already swept the shop. Twice.

[OOC: Open shop. No OCD. No Squishies, either.]

"Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiidiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~~~~~"

The voice came from far, and it was a little while until Delirium actually appeared, running. Why the Endless didn't just moving instantly from one place to another instead of running around all the time was a mystery, but if asked she would say that she didn't remember being able to do that.

"I have a surprise!"

Walking made them look cool, duh. Also if they teleported everywhere half of Brief Lives wouldn't have happened.

"Is it a fishy?" Didi called from her seat on the floor behind the counter. She was teasing; Del wouldn't be this happy about a fishy.

Well. Probably not.

"C'mon back here and show me."

And never underestimate the Rule of Cool, really. Canon continuity is a pain, isn't it?

"Better than a fishie!" She had gave a fish away that very same day anyway. And they were a pretty serious business, mind you.

Delirium made her way to the back, where he held out her two hands, balled in fists towards Didi. "Pick one hand~"

True facts: I'm pretty sure Gaiman based the Endless's powers entirely on the Rule of Cool.

"I pick ...." Didi spent a long time looking at the fists before reaching to tap Del's right hand. It was a little unpredictable, trying to decide what Del might consider better than a fishy, so she was trying not to get her hopes too high about the ankh. "This one."
