Didi was still without her ankh, and it had her restless.

She expressed this by taking apart the Squishy machine again. She didn't think the sigil was in there -- not unless it time traveled, anyhow -- but it gave her something to do with her hands, and she'd already swept the shop. Twice.

[OOC: Open shop. No OCD. No Squishies, either.]

"Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiidiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~~~~~"

The voice came from far, and it was a little while until Delirium actually appeared, running. Why the Endless didn't just moving instantly from one place to another instead of running around all the time was a mystery, but if asked she would say that she didn't remember being able to do that.

"I have a surprise!"

Walking made them look cool, duh. Also if they teleported everywhere half of Brief Lives wouldn't have happened.

"Is it a fishy?" Didi called from her seat on the floor behind the counter. She was teasing; Del wouldn't be this happy about a fishy.

Well. Probably not.

"C'mon back here and show me."

And never underestimate the Rule of Cool, really. Canon continuity is a pain, isn't it?

"Better than a fishie!" She had gave a fish away that very same day anyway. And they were a pretty serious business, mind you.

Delirium made her way to the back, where he held out her two hands, balled in fists towards Didi. "Pick one hand~"

True facts: I'm pretty sure Gaiman based the Endless's powers entirely on the Rule of Cool.

"I pick ...." Didi spent a long time looking at the fists before reaching to tap Del's right hand. It was a little unpredictable, trying to decide what Del might consider better than a fishy, so she was trying not to get her hopes too high about the ankh. "This one."

So, so true. And I swear I decided which hand had what before making the comment, but it's a win-win situation for Didi~

Del opened her right hand...which had nothing. "Wrong choice!" And right after that Delirium opened her arms, going for a big hug with her sister...if she didn't feel somehow cheated, that's it.

But anyway, a hug later she opened her left hand, the ankh resting on her palm. "An awesome crazy person was holding it for you."

Didi would never turn down a hug from Delirium, so she squeezed her happily before squealing in delight at the necklace. She quickly grabbed it and fastened it around her neck.

"What was going on with it before an awesome crazy person found it again?" she asked, thinking Del was referring to herself.

Yay hugs!

"A crazy person on the Library", said as she didn't have the finest idea of what Anemone's name. "She was very nice, so I gave her a fishie."

"Anemone, I think," Didi volunteered. She hadn't met the girl, but she was vaguely aware of Jono's library co-workers. "That's fantastic. Did she like the fishie?"

Del shrugged. "She should be?" It sounded pretty crazy for a name -Delirium would know-, so it was plausible.

"She...maybe?" She had ran off after giving it to her, so she didn't know. "It was a little flying comet fishie."

"What color?" Didi asked. her hands hadn't left her ankh yet; everything felt much more real now that she was wearing it again. "She should like it. It's ... unique."

"It's a little goldfish." Granted, she could have made a bigger fish, but that would have just been...bigger? Yeah, no logic there. This is where the mun facepalms for not having added more detail on that other post.

Delirium nodded. "It's a little unique fishie for her, since I didn't have flowers." Which reminded her she needed to give flowers to someone, hm. She had already given the ankh to Didi, so maybe she could find someone else? And she needed to find flowers. So the next logical question was...

"Where can I find flowers?"

Of course. Give a fishie instead of flowers. That ... kind of made sense.

"Either in the garden by the dorms or go to the flower shop," Didi said,a dding quick directions to the flower shop. "Who are they for?"

Lots of sense!

The garden by the dorms, and the flower shop, noted. "I'm not sure yet! Anenenomone told me to give them to someone, so I'm going to look for someone."
