Joan was out in town doing some last minute errands and shopping for her trip so she could pack since she was leaving tomorrow.

One of her errands was something she should have done a week or two ago but she hated doing because it made the whole 'leaving Fandom' thing seem so final.

She entered the shop and noticed that Miss Vida looked a little stressed and her guilt levels shot through the roof. She offered a hesitant smile. "Hey, Miss Vida. How are you today?"

"Sweetpea!" Vida said, holding out her arms. "I'm fine, well, not including being frustrated by some vendors I will not name. How are you?"
