Coffee, indeed. There were even serve-yourself meeting containers of the regular stuff, for those who didn't want to go up and order something with whipped cream and syrup, and an array of muffins, scones, and cookies on one table. Not courtesy Francine this time, since the Perk staff weren't too keen on people bringing baked goods in.

Karla ducked inside, flashing Francine a smile and waggling her fingers towards Wee Baby Merlin. "How's he been?" she asked. "Was he good for you last night? And did you want to go shopping tomorrow?"
Francine shifted the droid baby to her shoulder and grinned. "We might not have to worry about taking care of these babies for very long, but there's some real ones on the island too. I think one of the things we ought to do is make a list of who's available to look out for the kids on the island when their parents are helping drive off the latest invasion.
