Walking past with his newly-won stuffed gremlin, Dimitri stopped and stared at the entrance to the tunnel while one of the park's flamingos squawked at him angrily.

Kate had thought the House of Mirrors would be fun, now that the headache had mostly cleared up. She was wrong. And got lost. And of course the distorted mirrors were bringing the headache back.

She valiantly fought the urge to curl up in a corner and cry, though, but might have been desperately in need of rescuing.
