Rose had missed Fight Club the past two weeks so she was so incredibly ready for this one. Plus she kinda wanted to see if Dimitri would end up fighting at all because she so wouldn't mind watching him in action not dirty dammit.
She arrived as early as she possibly could without being a total dork and stretched on the mats while waiting for things to get started.

Rose so wasn't sure if everyone was supposed to introduce themselves or just the new kids, but when it came around to her, she went ahead with it. "I'm Rose Hathaway. I'm a senior, and I've been training since I was a little kid."
Re: IntroductionsguardianbornSeptember 6 2009, 22:10:28 UTC
There was a moment when some sort of pride or affection or something passed over Rose's face before she shrugged. "Yeah, well, he's a guardian. He's got to be good."
FRESH MEAT. AHEM. I mean new people, show off your skillz.

Hey, he could do this! Kind of. Jak wasn't a particularly trained fighting - most of his ability came from sheer talent and enthusiasm, and while his kicks and punches looked vaguely impressive, he didn't measure up in any way to the heavy hitters in the group.
Calvin was kind of painful to watch, and it would have been obvious to just about anyone that he'd never actually been in a fight with someone who wasn't taller and stronger than him, let alone won one.
If you didn't have a tiger's reflexes, he was fairly decent at dodging though.
Kyle clearly knew what he was doing and he was doing it very well. He felt that he wasn't really able to show off all of his moves, though, since it was hard to fight dirty when there wasn't really anyone to put into a headlock or elbow in the throat.

This was going to be a...different sort of a approach to trying to net some more votes, but why the heck not, right?
"Hi," Mullet," Jack! Looking for a spar? Can't promise I'll be any good, but I can't get better if I don't practice. I'm all about trying hard, you know."

Jack M. Burton, Registered Voter looked at Turtle Schinn-Kiquor Wexler, and nodded his head.
"I'm game if you're game," he said, knowing he'd go easy on her.
[I leave for the RenFest in 6 hours, so mega-slowplay unless you want to wrap up. I'd rather sp, because it's always fun to play characters who have to limp.]

"I am so sick of paperwork, I could puke," she noted, by way of introduction.
