Veronica convinced Piper to leave Lindsey at the apartment for an hour so the two of them could do some actual catching up.

They settled in to a corner table with lots of coffee and muffins for some serious BFF time.

Nathan arrived at J,GoB for his breakfast with Claire. He got a coffee and donut for himself and settled in to wait for her. Luckily he had his Blackberry with him so that he could keep on top of his campaign while he waited.

Claire got some chocolate milk and a bagel before joining Nathan.

"You look busy."

"Running for Congress in the city that never sleeps," Nathan replied. He put his Blackberry to the side. "It's a busy job."

"You're running for Congress now?"

Claire considered that. If Peter was only a teenager, then their Claire was just a little girl. Hmm.

"It's really good to be back here," Piper said, sipping her coffee.

"So, tell me everything that I've missed," Veronica insisted. "Did you guys get hit with that weird sex pollen crap?"

Sadly, talk of dirty times would need to be... postponed for at least three comments. Or so.

It all depended since there was now a man in a bright red costume in the shop and waving at Veronica. "Blondie!" A beat. "And friend I haven't met before."

"No longer my favorite VP," Veronica replied, giving him a bitch, please look thanks to his radio remarks. "This is my BFF, Piper Halliwell. Piper, this is Deadpool, the current vice principal."
