Town Hall, Tuesday, November 13, Evening

Wyatt had been prepared for the sight of several flu victims, but he didn't expect it to be this bad. He counted at least 15 beds, and who knew if the people tending to them would get sick as well. He conferred briefly with Dr. Troy to find out what procedures they had in place, grabbed a mask, and got to work.

Savannah opened her eyes and managed to smile. "Hey. You're not sick. Good."

"No, but you are," Chris replied. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling better than I was yesterday," she said, lying. "Johnny and Eve are sick, too. Lots of people seem to be sick. It's weird."

She covered her face as she started coughing.

"Lana's here somewhere, too," Chris told her, casting a concerned look at her. "You don't sound very good. Should I call over a doctor?"

"Lana's sick, too? Oh no!" She shook her head, coughing again. "I'm sorry Lana's sick, Chris, and I'd help if I could. I keep trying to use healing spells on people, but it seems to make me worse." She swallowed. "Maybe see if they can do something about the pain in my head and..." She bit her lip. "I'm having messed up dreams, Chris."

There would be Chris's 'bitch, please' face. At least at first. "Savannah, you are sick. Stop trying to take care of everyone else and take care of yourself."

He sighed. "What kind of dreams?"

He knew her well enough to know she would have to be unconscious not to try to help -- especially when it came to Eve.

"Being back in the compound," she said quietly.

He let out a long sigh. "I'm sorry," he said. "But you need to try to rest. Maybe we can get the doctor to give you something to help you sleep?"

Savannah started to nod, but blinding pain flared through her head again.

"Okay," she whispered. She wasn't happy about taking anything to make her unconscious, but she also knew that Chris wouldn't let anything happen to her when she couldn't defend herself. "It hurts so much, Chris. Do we know yet what's going on?"

"Excuse me," George Michael said very quietly in case she was sleeping. He didn't want to wake her up.

Savannah wasn't sleeping. Her head hurt too much. "Hello."

Savannah covered her face with her hands and the blankets as she coughed, because she didn't want to make the nice stranger sick.

"Please," she rasped.

She really was thirsty.

He was wearing a mask and gloves so it was okay, really. "I'm George Michael Bluth," he said as he approached and knelt by her cot. He poured cold water into a cup and went to hand it to her. "Do you need help?"
