Pixie Dust, Friday, All Day

Oct 05, 2007 08:21

This Homecoming event, whatever it was, was certainly moving the formalwear. Which meant people were buying a lot of formalwear, which was, conveniently enough, both expensive and chic. Therefore, Homecoming was fine by Tink.

She even came in on a day when the shop should be closed. Wasn't that ever so kind of her?

Molly opened the door and walked in, speaking to Katara behind her. "See, plenty of blue dresses for you to choose from."

Katara bounced, looking around with glee. "There are so many." She touched a dark blue one carefully then looked back at Molly. "What colour are you looking for?"

"I don't really have a color in mind this time," Molly said, looking at a dark green dress. "Something darker though. Not pink."

The fashionable fairy is here to help. And possibly laugh at you. But also, help.

"Hi Tink!" Charlie may have looked a little guilty for waiting until the absolute last second. "I need a dress. For Homecoming. Tonight. Anything left at all?"

Tink waved dismissively. Of course there were dresses left! Racks and rows of them. First of all, you never knew when some boy might stop fawning over an idiotic English brat and discover the hottie in front of him. And secondly, a good many girls had busy schedules, what with manicures and hair appointments. Not that fashion should be left to the last minute. But really. Tink understood.

At any rate, the burny-girl should come in immediately and find something fabulous and chic and outrageous. Yes?

Charlie got the general gist of "come in already, sheesh" and hurried in, looking around a litte agape. "Wow. Ohhh, wow. These are so gorgeous...." She had no idea what she'd look good in. Red was a bit much for a first dance, but maybe something in blue? "I'm not tall enough for a slit skirt, but anything else... Ooooo."
