Naminé wasn't her usual white dress again today. She'd be back to it soon enough, she just felt colorful at the moment. Festive.

Lucifer glanced down at the table. Or perhaps it was Wilson's foot under the table he was looking at. "Steal."

It was tempting to see just how long they could attempt to outstubborn each other but Wilson accepted defeat in such a contest from the outset.

Instead, he lifted his wine glass to his lips and smiled.

"You could always place a value upon your property and I could work it off in kind?"

Smirking, Lucifer settled back as their appetizer was brought out by a spoon. "So eager to end the night quickly? I think it would take more than an evening to repay the theft."

"Oh, definitely not." Wilson said. "I plan to enjoy this evening to it's fullest."

He waited politely for Lucifer to take the first mushroom, wine glass held negligently in his hand.

"I expect the negotiations on price, to take awhile."

Popping the mushroom in his mouth, Lucifer smirked. "Negotiation?"

Reaching for his own mushroom, Wilson neatly quartered it.

"There's just something exhilerating about making a deal with the devil," Wilson teased good naturedly before digging into his mushroom.

"I've seen a couple happen," Wilson pointed out, taking another bite of his mushroom and then chasing it down with some wine.

"However, I have noticed that the deals ultimately are to your benefit. You come out on top."

Wilson studied Lucifer for a long moment, studied the not nice smile and then lowered his gaze, looking down at his half eaten mushroom.

On occasion, Lucifer felt the mortal needed to be reminded that he was not A Nice Man. In fact, he was quite frankly a right bastard to be around.

"Would you like more wine?"
