Our Lady of Fandom; Monday [ 03/19 ]

The snakes had cleared out of the church, leaving no sign that they were ever really even there to begin with, which, admittedly, kind of creeped Rosette out. She had extra lights in the confessional today, so she could keep her eye on the corners for any that might have still been lurking, waiting to bite her ankle or something while she cleaned ( Read more... )

John popped in, looking for Rosette. And new boots.

Chrono arched an eyebrow at him. "It's Monday; s'not like you don't know where she is. Unless it's me you're here to see, in which case, I'm flattered, really, but maybe you should stick to nuns?"

"Oh, I'll stick it to the nun. Not quite in the mood for demons today." He actually gives Chrono a bit of a grin before stepping into the confessional.

"And let's pray that day never comes," Chrono responded with a shake of his head. He briefly entertained the idea of grabbing a cup and doing the whole listening through the wall thing, but then remembered that he probably really, really didn't want to know what the hell those two always talked about.

Rosette was just switching from the AK-103 that Deadpool had gotten her to a much less ridiculous pistol when she heard someone entering that side of the confessional. Oooh, confession! Always fun. Hopefully, it wasn't another murder today. Those did kind of put a damper on her day.

"Welcome, my child," she started, rehersed, but a little less so today. "What transgressions have you brought today to ask God to forgive?"

It had taken Liz some time to decide to come in to the church, seeing how she hadn't stepped inside one since the incident. She gazed around nervously.

Chrono nodded to the girl as she came in, with a small smile. "Hello. Sister Rosette's doing confessionals today, if you need her, but, if you need anything else, I'd be happy to help."

Liz hesitated for a few seconds, "...I came for confessionals," she replied quietly.

Chrono nodded, and offered a smile that he hoped seemed encouraging. "Just go right in, then."

Agatha walked into the church. It had been ages, but she was not here to pray. She looked around to see if she would spot the Sister.

Chrono nodded to the woman; quite a few unfamiliar faces today. "Sister Rosette is taking confessionals today; just go right in if you need her. If there's anything else, though, I'll try to help as best I can."

"Hmm, well i do not need to confess anything, but i do need to talk to the sister. Think she would mind a chat in there instead of a confession?" Agatha looked at the purple-haired kid curiously.

Chrono rolled his eyes a bit. "I'd be shocked if half the time someone's in there, confessing is actually being done. I don't think she'd mind a bit. For all I know, she's probably sleeping right now..."
