After stopping to nominate for Homecoming Court and chatting with Tyler, Marie finally made her way to Stuff for Sale, armed with the debit card her parents had so thoughtfully provided.

She hoped she could find a nice dress that covered most of her skin.

"I miss the school supplies," Willow admitted.

"But... dresses," Marie replied, waving her hands at all the fancy materials.

"Which are very pretty, I do agree," Willow said. "Just... school supplies."

She sighed.

Marie rolled her eyes.

"Aren't you more excited about spending an evening all dressed up and dancing in Peter's arms?"

Phoebe had been happy to get the invite from Marie and she was looking around at all of the colours and styles.

"Hey, Phoebe. Glad you're back!"

Phoebe smiled at Marie. "Hi, Marie. It's good to be back."

"Did Bel actually ask you to the dance yet?" Marie asked, hands on her hips.

Cally wandered into Stuff for Sale looking a wee bit nervous.

"Hi, Cally," Marie waved. "Popular day for dress shopping."

"I'm supposed to be meetin' Mac here," Cally said. "So yeah, I guess so."

"Shopping with your date?" Marie asked. "That's cool."

Nadia came in and looked around. "So are we looking for really formal dresses for this, or fun and cute?"

"I think you can get away with either," Marie said. "Depending on what you want. At my old school, Homecoming wasn't as formal as Prom."

Nadia nodded. "Good. Because those long, tight skirts are really hard to dance in."

"I'm planning to go with something long," Marie said. "But not long and tight."

Mac picked up the message from Cally and headed down to Stuff for Sale. She's had all morning to think about what kind of dress she wants and she's still no closer to having any idea.

Mac grinned in return, "Hey Marie. Getting your dress shopping in?"

"Yep," Marie grinned back. "Only a few more days!"
