Stuff for Sale [after 2nd period/before 7th]

After stopping to nominate for Homecoming Court and chatting with Tyler, Marie finally made her way to Stuff for Sale, armed with the debit card her parents had so thoughtfully provided.

She hoped she could find a nice dress that covered most of her skin.

Cally wandered into Stuff for Sale looking a wee bit nervous.

"Hi, Cally," Marie waved. "Popular day for dress shopping."

"I'm supposed to be meetin' Mac here," Cally said. "So yeah, I guess so."

"Shopping with your date?" Marie asked. "That's cool."

[sogothcally]

"Yeah, well, gotta make sure we don't clash and stuff," Cally said.

"Makes sense," Marie said.

She pondered the thought of Jamie coming shopping and decided that would be a bad thing because there was no doubt in her mind that he would end up trying dresses on.

"You doin the standard 'tell the date what color to match' thing?"

Marie nodded. "Of course, knowing Jamie, it might not matter much."

"Well hey," Cally said. "You never know. If anything, you can have a conga line solely with you date."

"Please don't give him any ideas," Marie begged, barely resisting the urge to facepalm at the mental image.

"Bunny hop more your style?" Cally asked.

Marie facepalmed now.

"Really, Jamie doesn't need help coming up with crazy ideas."

"Okay, okay," Cally said. "I totally think it'd be cute, though."

"If it wasn't your date, yeah."

Cally rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry..."

Marie smiled. "It's okay. I just wish that sometimes Jamie didn't have to make everything into a huge production. I don't really like that much attention, you know?"
