Setsuna drifted into the common room, sort of hungry but sort of not, perhaps half expecting to half-heartedly meet some new people.

"Oh. Morning, Teddy," she gave him a small smile and tried not to feel uncomfortable, avoiding thinking about what she and Jude had talked about. She instead focused on the television screen with a bit of an arched eyebrow. "And to think I thought leaving Japan would save me from this sort of thing."

"Morning Setsuna!" Teddy was completely oblivious to the discomfort Setsuna felt around him. He grinned back at her. "It's everywhere, didn't you know that?"

"I suppose I do now," Setsuna smiled back a little shyly and joined him on the couch, reminding herself again that she wasn't going to think anything about him, or Jude, or Chad, in any combination whatsoever. She was going to think about bad anime which she knew a lot about, being from one. "How have you been, Teddy?"

Setsuna winced. Nice. That could go into the not-going-to-think about territory.

After talking to Isabel and learning where the Library was, Ami wandered down to the common room. She perched on on of the couches and waved to teh person already there.

"Hi. I am Ami."

Teddy waved back. "I'm Teddy. You new here or am I just worse at meeting people than I thought?"

"Hi Teddy. I am indeed new. Arrived yesterday in fact." She looked at the TV "Oooh is that a new episode? I do not think i have seen this one. I hope they win this time."

Setsuna blinked several times at that. "Um, couch," she pointed out, a little too late. "You want some coffee or something? Tea is more my specialty, but I'd hate to have more furtanture attack you like that..."

Though Henry had been exploring last night, he'd never actually found his own common room. This time around, he found it surprisingly quickly.
Henry had been planning on scoping out the cooking facilities, but he got a little side tracked when he saw the television.
"What on earth is that?" He asked, and squinted at the television, as though that would make everything sort itself out.

Setsuna smiled a little, shied away from the obvious response, and responded with something that she hoped wouldn't be too confusing if this fellow was from a different time. "We call that bad anime."

Henry turns away from the TV. "Ah. I'm a bit new to some of the technology around here, but I was under the impression that most things on a television were supposed to make some kind of sense."

Setsuna chuckled a little. "Not when they're made in Japan. I think we pride ourselves in making our cartoons as nonsensical as possible sometimes." Her eyes lingered on the television screen for a moment and she shook her head. Ojou-sama loved shows like this...

"I'm Setsuna, by the way," she said, nodding her head toward him in greeting.

Venturing out of her room to explore the dorms further seemed like a good idea-- after all, Haruhi knew she had to get the place figured out eventually-- so she was out and about, floating into the room when she noticed people.

'Course, there was wincing when she saw what was on the television. "You must be joking."

Setsuna's head almost snapped toward Haruhi, sensing a kindred spirit. "My thoughts exactly!" she said, with a small grin toward the new person. Another Japanese student? They could start a club soon, good Lord...

"I didn't think I'd be coming to the States, only to have to watch more of that," Haruhi groaned. This irony is wonderful. She shook her head, dismissing it. "But complaining about that isn't the best way to walk into a room full of strangers."
