After the buzz of yesterday, Nadia was feeling a bit gloomy again. She'd managed to get herself some soup without too much "I can only use one arm!" trauma, and that, combined with some hot chocolate, was working wonders for her ability to pretend it wasn't effin' freezing outside

Walter wandered up with his electric blanket in preparation for girlfriend-hassling duties.

"Hey. How are you feeling?"

Tired of people asking that,

"Okay, I guess. I made soup."

"Can I get you anything?" Walter asked while he plugged in the blanket. "It's my turn." And he far preferred being the one doing the taking care of, rather than being on the receving end.

Nadia shook her head. "I'm sure I'll think of something, but I'm okay right now."

Naomi had started feeling restless in her room where she had stayed since she had been discharged from the clinic so she decided to see if there was anyone about, "hey," she said as she entered the fifth floor common room.

Nadia looked up from adjusting her shoulder brace. "Hey, Naomi. How'd you fare this weekend? Your first invasion."

Naomi gave a slight grin, "spent most of the weekend unconscious after getting knocked out and taken captive by a troll, I got out of the clinic this afternoon,"

Nadia sat up straighter. "Dios! Are you alright? Ohhhh, I didn't even know. I'm a terrible big sister."

Tyler roamed up to the fifth floor bundled in a sweatshirt. "It's cold in the dorms tonight."

"Not here," Walter said from his spot under an electric blanket with a warm Argentine at his side. "Hey, Tyler."

"Hey back," Tyler said, plopping into a chair. "Nice blankie. How's your troll-free day?"

"My girlfriend's South American," Walter said to explain the blankie. "And my troll-free day was rather dull. Yours?"

"That injury doesn't look fun."

Walter looked over his shoulder at Schrodinger and frowned. It was the first time he'd seen the catboy outside of class since the incident in Nadia's room.

"Hey Walter," Schrodinger said cheerfully. "How've you been?"

Walter narrowed his eyes for a moment, then nodded. Can't kill the messenger or the connection to this mystery doctor would be lost.

He answered tersely. "Better."

Pippi flounced in with a bag of slinkys caramel candies.

"Hey."

"Hey! You must have known I'd be here, you brought treats."

Pippi offered the bag for Walter to take some.

"Yup. I'm P-sick-ick."

Walter grabbed a candy and popped it in his mouth. Around the mouthful, he asked, "Do you know how to Snoopy dance?"
