Bel staggered into the lobby, looking for more information about what was going on. Conveniently, the Doctor was making his announcement. "Mansion?" he growled. "Where?"
"Possibly foolish to go all by yourself, though," the Doctor pointed out. "Though it would provide the possibility of an assault on two fronts, which is definitely a good idea."
Buffy followed the noise yet again. She was holding a stake in her right hand, her left arm was kind of useless at the moment. She frowned at the Doctor. "What about the women from the girls?"
"I think even girls have the bravery to face danger, so we don't have to seperate them, but if you like, we can do that too. No sexism was meant, honest," he said. "Strongest fighters I've known, they've been women."
"According to reports, we have a goodly amount of men and women missing, so they aren't discriminating via gender," the Doctor said. "Very liberal of them, really. As for names, well, our inside report came from Willow Rosenberg."
Armed with his sword and a gun, Cameron made it into the lobby. "Cameron Mitchell reporting for duty, sir." He might be taking this sort of thing too serious.
"Well, we're going to need more than a small handful if we want to give them a fighting chance of escape, rather than a useless gesture," the Doctor said. "Once we've gathered a more appropriate amount of brave souls and we've assessed their capabilities, then we'll formulate an attack plan... ever do any strategic planning?"
Parker showed up, wearing her guns, and carrying a sack full of some uh, appropriated from the gun range. "Doctor? Any way we can get these guns *into* the mansion, so the captives have a fighting chance?"
"I was hoping he'd volunteer for that," Parker said in satisfaction, but when she looked around, Bel was nowhere to be seen, having already taken off while Parker's mun was at work. "Damnit. And it was a good plan, too."
