Ranma has been mostly ignorant to all these goings on. But he happens through the lobby as they're talking about it and decided to stay. "I'll join you. You need all the help you can get right?"

"All the help we can get," the Doctor said. "I don't think we've met. I'm the Doctor. Glad to have you aboard."

Ranma smiles as a way of greeting and admitts sheepishly, "Yeah I don't get out much... I'm Ranma. Nice to meet you."

"Not like you'd socialize with an old man like me, anyways," the Doctor said with a smile. "Good name, Ranma. I'm sure we'll all be glad that you got out today."

Nadia was up early and wandering around, thanks to the pain in her shoulder. Dr. Wilson had said to ice it, but the idea just made her shiver so instead she had on the immobilizer and the brace, and was trying to focus on something else and hope that the tylenol took the pain away soon.

She heard the Doctor's announcement and went to go see what was what. "Some of us weren't snug in our beds by choice, you know,"

"Eesh," the Doctor said. "But you've already shown enough bravery for one invasion, I think. No slight intended."

"I fought for two minutes and got thrown across the front lawn of the school." Nadia was a touch irritable.

The Doctor winced. "At least you're still standing?"

Although Layla didn't have a weapon of her own, she had managed to find a number of seemingly abandoned items in the weapons locker. She'd grabbed an axe, hoping it wouldn't be too much different to wield than something like a bat, and headed for the lobby, putting on her bravest face. "Hi sir," she said. "I'm here to report for duty."

The Doctor hesitated for a second, but then smiled. "Brave girl, Miss Williams," he said. "Glad you're here."

"I'm glad you're organizing this," she replied. "They've got my roommate. I can't just leave her there without trying to help get her back."

"We won't leave without her," the Doctor said. "No child left behind, that'll be our motto."

Anders still had the rifle and sidearm he'd "borrowed" from the weapons locker yesterday, but he'd made another stop to pick up a proper holster for the PPK this time, at least.

He hadn't exactly woken up under the best circumstances, so he was still kind of grouchy when he arrived. Grouchy, but caffeinated. "I'm not frakkin' 'scritching' anything's belly," he declared.

"Not even a puppy? You'd deny a cute puppy belly scritches?" the Doctor asked.

"Puppies yes, those ugly things from yesterday no, and trick questions when I'm not awake yet are so not fair," Anders said.

"Glad to have you aboard," the Doctor said. "Though you should probably get some caffeine in you before we go."

Tyler had barely escaped the second troll the night before, and he was looking a little worse for wear.

Not that he minded.

He swaggered into the lobby. "Need more bodies?"

"Always could use a few more," the Doctor said. He knew better than to suggest that a fellow sit out due to injuries. "Glad to have you aboard."

"I can't sit this out," Tyler shrugged. "Think they have my roommate."

"Well then, we better get them back," the Doctor said. "I think... yes, I know what we'll do." He tapped his forehead. "Got a plan cooking, me."
