The gym, Sunday after cheerleading

As soon as the cheerleading practice is over, Aeryn's in the gym, cursing pretty much all of them silently just for being there. She goes straight to the bag, not worrying too much about gloves and figuring yesterday will have kept most people away from the gym. She's okay with that.

"You couldn't sleep in?" John says, wandering in.

"I had things to do," Aeryn answers, with a hit to the bag. "Like stand there for half an arn and wait for the frelling cheerleaders to get out of my gym."

"Your gym?" John asks, raising an eyebrow. "When did you buy it?"

She sighs at him, and hits the bag again. Because she doesn't have an answer for that.

Sakurazaki comes into the gym, skipping her usual routine and deciding to focus mostly on her sword forms and focus excersises. She has too much on her mind, and the only way she'll probably be able to get rid of it is with the swing of a sword.

Aeryn gives the new girl a nod between punches.

Sakurazaki returns the nod, which really seems more of a formal slight bow, before starting with her drills.

Aeryn goes back to her workout, occasionally looking back to see what she's doing.

Seras had dressed in comfortable clothes and made her way to the gym to wait for Walter.

She sat, swinging her legs and idly watching the other students.

Walter showed up, dressed as always, other than black athletic shoes in deference to the gym floor.

"There you are."

Seras looked over and smiled.

"Here I am."

[walter_n_wires]

Walter started stretching and glanced up as he bent in half over his knees. "Do you have a preference for how to start? Or just spar until one of us says stop?"
