Phoebe heard the scream and then the thump. She felt fear coming from somewhere and she lifted her head, looking for her boyfriend.

"I heard it," Cole said, bounding out of bed. Wearing only his pajama bottoms, he ran over to the other side of the cabin to see what the hell was going on.

Phoebe sat up and pulled one of Cole's t-shirts over her pajama top and stood up. The T-shit was big on her, so that was good.

Bel has just invented Connor!Ball. Scoring and gameplay is still uncertain, but it involves John being projectiled down the right thread hallway.

"WHOA!" Maia shouted trying to move out of the way of the fast moving Connor!Ball. She grabbed a curtain for one of the alcoves and nearly tore it as she moved.

Lana nearly tripped over Maia, but managed to make her way to the other side of the hallway, with John on one side and Bel on the other. She plastered herself against the wall, trying to stay out of the way.

John looked at the hulking mass of red and black skin covering the chromed metal skeleton, chips and hydraulics whirring away inside. He saw the bodies of his cabinmates lying on the floor, and his eyes narrowed.

He dropped into a lowered fighting stance, bringing his battered arms up in position.

"Looks like they fucked up the paint job at the factory, Cybint. I'm gonna make you wish you never were programmed."

One last moment to mutter something about wishing Bel was there, and John rushed the figure, aiming for elbow and knee joints.

Phoebe shook her head. She had to stop John before he pushed Cole any further. She could feel Cole's rage at Lana's and Maia's injuries as if it was her own. If she didn't act now, John would force Cole to do something they all would regret --- and would tear Cole apart when he found out that it hadn't been something John would willingly have done.

She watched John carefully. She had sparred with him. She had talked with him and offered him her help.

Now, she had to act without asking for his permission. She tried to make the pain in her head fade a little so she could move. Taking a deep breath, she launched herself at John, intending to tackle him away from Cole.

Cole would never let the fireball fly if he thought she might accidentally get hit.

John would never intentionally hurt anyone... would never hurt her if she could force him to see it was her and not whatever he was seeing in his mind...

...she hoped.

Anakin? Had had a very, very long week.

This was not improved by waking up in the middle of the night by the unmistakable feel of violence in the camp.

He raced from Flamingo and slammed the door to the Koala cabin open.

"Give me one reason why everyone in this cabin shouldn't end up in detention," he said, glaring.

Phoebe was not having a good night and an angry Anakin busting into the cabin didn't make the pain in her head from the emotions in the cabin any better.

She dropped to a bed and shook her head carefully, then looked at him.

"Because you're fair and have a sense of justice," she said in a quiet voice. "You won't put anyone in detention who doesn't honestly deserve it and you want to know what happened and why more than you want to just punish someone?"

Phoebe was rubbing her head and then looked over to where Lana and Maia were.

"He didn't see us." She tried to explain as she got up and went to her friends.
