Bridge is in the Common Room, standing on his head and trying to read from a textbook.

The TV is on, providing appropriate background noise.

"Bridge dude!" Anders bounces in with his nightly delivery of cupcakes and sets them down on the table with a flourish. "Sugary goodness ahoy!"

He proceeds to stand on his head across from Bridge. "Whatcha readin'?"

"Stuff 'bout Egypt. Like, their art. Sphinxes are cool!" He grins. "And yay, cupcakes! I will totally have some as soon as I am done this chapter!"

Anders grins and flips back onto his feet (only not literally), then retrieves a green-sprinkled chocolate cupcake which he places in front of Bridge. "Motivation, dude."

Bridge eyes the cupcake for a second, and then glances back to his book. He then flips to the very last page of the chapter. "Oh, look. Done!" He stands right-side up in a way that manages to miraculously not squish the cupcake, which he proceeds to eat. "Thanks, dude!"

Rory wandered in and fell onto a couch.

"Yo."

Angela raises a palm. "Yo yourself. So what's a duckling? I saw you at that table but you seemed kind of swarmed."

"It's an acronym. Thingy for looking up community service for people with free time."

Rory did not look at Anders, Rory did not look at Anders, Rory did not look at Anders....

"Oh. An acronym for what?" Angela asks, almost innocently, as she does not notice who Rory is not looking at. Nor does she shoot a glance that way herself. "And what kind of volunteer stuff are you guys gonna do?"

Zero tilts her head at him. "Um...Bridge? Doesn't it work better right-side-up?" She wonders if his book is upside down, too, which would make it work out, but she's too far away to tell.

[bridge_carson]

"Nah. Thinking's easier when you're upside-down!" Bridge grins. He'd bounce, but... upside-down.

"Really?" Zero decides to give it a try, because hey, why not? "Whoa, blood...rushing to head."

"That's what helps with the thinking!"

Angela comes in holding her head and flops into a chair. "Why am I taking four classes in one day on a Friday? It's, like, cruel and unusual punishment."

Bridge hands Angela a cupcake. "Definitely an effort that deserves a cupcake," he says solemnly.

Angela grins contentedly and begins licking the icing from around the rim of the cupcake. Mmmmm, peppermint.

"Thanks. I'd turn upside down too, but -- cupcake. So how are things, Bridge?"

Having finished (and by finished I mean "decided to put off for another day") his studying, Bridge flips right-side up. "Good, good! Lotsa business for ABC, people have signed up for my club, and Anders brought cupcakes!" He grins. "You?"

Molly came in and sat down on the floor. "Hey, Bridge. Any exploring plans for tonight?"

[bridge_carson]

"Hat-Girl-Molly!" Bridge said cheerfully. "I dunno. Depends if enough people wanna go."

Molly smiled. "I'm in whenever you go again."

"You guys explore? What is there to even explore in this place?" Angela asks, idly playing with her hair.
