Jessica notices an unfamiliar face enter the room. Jessica closes her book, gives a short wave and smiles.

"Hello dear? I am sorry to bother you...are you looking for someone?"

"No, just wondering what all the cushions are doing in the corner there," Parker said, pointing. She blinked. Dear? That was new. "I'm Parker. You're another new student, right?"

Jessica stretched her neck to look at the pile of cushions, then looks at Parker and points to the cushions. "I didn't put those there" Jessica says with a laugh. "And yes, yes I am. I'm Jessica Tate, and its wonderful to meet you."

[ooc - Is Parker wet from said water fight? Just wondering, so Jessica could maybe comment on that :)]

After the water fight in the 3rd Floor Common Room, Parker's too wired to sleep. She's hoping to find an old episode of Bitterwoman or the Exposed Folders to watch, but... that would only work if the couch was all there.

"Hey. What the heck?"

She turned around in the room, and blinked at the pillow fort.

Back in her room after her first day of class, Jessica isn't really as tired as she thought she would be. Instead of flipping through her family photo album for the one-millionth time since she got to Fandom, Jessica instead picks up her books and heads out into the common room to get some work done. Jessica looks at the cushionless couches and cocks her head, completely oblivious to the cushion fort in the corner.

"Hmm. This room sure looks...inviting...Oh well!" Jessica shrugs her shoulders, smiles, sits down on one of the cushionless couches, and tries her best to sit up as properly as possible as she quietly begins to flip through a book.

Susan comes into the common room carryinng a book and a blanket, apparently settling in to do some reading for the evening. She sees the piles of cushions and manages to put her hands on her hips despite her armful.
"Now, really."
