Saturday was a good kind of day to bake cookies! Especially when it was chilly outside. Because that only made the cookies extra-delicious

Warren was exploring. He was kind of hungry, and there wasn't really anything to eat in the room he shared with Bobby (except for bunny food, which he'd decided after tasting one pellet was absolutely not for people), so he'd gone on a brave adventure around the dorms to see if he could find food that wasn't made of compressed hay or whatever.
And then he'd smelled cookies. Real cookies, like brand-new fresh, and so he was peering into the common room to see if maybe that was where the smell as coming from.
He was wearing a grown-up shirt that hung down somewhere past his knees, because he couldn't find a coat that was long enough to cover his wings, which were still kind of showing through the fabric because he couldn't find his harness this morning, either.
"Excuse me," he said, kind of shyly, from the doorway. "Are you making cookies, miss?"
She seemed kind of grown-up and like a stranger. So he was being polite and wary.
Miss? Rapunzel had never been called miss before! It was kind of neat. She turned, a grin on her face as she looked for the source of the question.
Ohmygosh! He was so cute!
Her smile got even wider. "Why, yes I am," Rapunzel answered. "But I'm afraid I made too many, and I can't possibly eat them all." She tilted her head, sending a wave of her hair cascading slightly to the side. "Do you know anyone who might be able to help me with them?"
Warren's eyes got a little wider at all of the lady's smiling, and then kind of fixed on her hair for a moment before he managed to look up again, smiling warily and taking a little step into the room.
"I could maybe help," he volunteered, "if you'd like me to. I am pretty hungry."
And she seemed nice, and he wanted to be helpful, even.
Lucrezia was no princessa, but she was hardly a beggar. But the scent of freshly-baked cookies had lured her in. Her mother was not here to cook, and she had found no servants to provide food, and her stomach was beginning to rumble uncomfortably.
"Did you make these?" she asked, trying for politeness. Perhaps the girl would offer; that would not be rude. She hoped. "They smell very nice."
"I did," Rapunzel answered, offering the little girl an easy smile. "But I accidentally made too many... Do you think you could help me with some of them?"
"Yes, please," Lucrezia said, shivering happily. "I love cookies. I shouldn't have them before supper as it will spoil my appetite so please don't tell Mother?"
She hoped there would be supper forthcoming. She had seen no sign of it, but she could not imagine a day without supper.
Hanna was so excited when she wandered past the common room. "Hi hi hi Rap...Rapun...Hi!" Yeah she couldn't pronounce that at the moment.
She was carrying around her favorite 'doll' that happened to be her Ethics assignment. It was probably a good thing for baby Winter's sake that Rapunzel was still herself this weekend.

She knelt down so that she'd be closer to the little boy's height. "And what should I call my hero?" she asked him with that same smile.

Hank had followed his nose, and things like "hello, who are you?" were much less important than, say, cookies.
"I call dibs!!!"

Those cookies were Hank's. He saw them first.

"Hannah?"

She was bouncing excitedly, nearly dropping droid baby Winter in the process.

"Um... would you like a cookie?"
Maybe she could get Hanna to trade Winter for a cookie. Before the droid got dropped.
