The look of that rope made Cally wish she was one of the island's habitual glove-wearers, but she was intrigued enough by the idea to walk over and pick up one of the four rope-ends, then wait to see who else joined the hopefully-not-literal fray.

...no, seriously, was there something she should have a bad feeling about? Because if there was, Kennedy was totally drawing a blank.

She was poking at her phone every few minutes, as if hitting the "check mail" button repeatedly would make something useful show up in her inbox. No such luck there.
