Reserves, The Salle, Teusday After Classes

Dec 14, 2010 08:51

"Hey, guys." Zack still looked a bit on the tired side as the reserves group gathered for their meeting today. But, considering he was on what looked to be his fourth cup of coffee since the leaders had arrived to set up, that probably wouldn't last long. "Crazy stuff last week, huh? I'm sorry I missed it, but I think we can all agree that taking ( Read more... )

Coffee good. Dice...confusing, which was why you'd find Cally rolling one around the palm of her hand as she sipped.

For one thing, dice were supposed to be seven-sided!

Leda still didn't have the whole story on what had happened while she was gone. She knew there was some King guy, and a maze, and kidnappings. But talking stone faces? Goblins? Yikes Goblins were no joke in Faerie. Well actually there were quite a few jokes about them but that was beside the point.

She'd missed coffee.

"I brought a bunch of flavored creamers if anyone wants any." she said, spiking her own cup with the gingerbread latte flavor.

Zack was there! He was there and looking... a bit more subdued than usual, but more or less okay!

The D&D thing struck him as kind of silly, but silly in a good way.

... Though it really did seem to be missing the Mountain Dew.

Well... Kennedy didn't understand the appeal of D&D, personally; she tended to find other things to do when people were doing that, but she was a bit too zonked to argue with it.

Besides, the dice were amusing; she was rolling a handful of D4s around in one palm because her player refuses to adopt this all-d20 business and pondering the usefulness of these suckers as caltrops. Hey, it could totally work. (As anyone who'd ever played an all night drunken session of 2nd edition could tell her.)
