While it was getting colder outside as they seemed to be approaching Winter, Faramir found that the stables remained pleasantly warm. He'd found a comfortable spot in the hay inside Baru's stable. "Are you reading to your horse?" Because Maladicta, unlike some, couldn't read the OOC note.

Faramir startled as he had not heard her approach, either because Baru's chewing or because it was a vampire thing.

The surprised was quickly replaced by a warm smile as he saw who it was. "He makes for a rather captive audience," he told her. "Hullo, my lady."

Maladicta hummed, tossing one of the odd cookies she'd found outside over at him. "Is this another Elvish story?"

"It is not," he caught the cookie with a puzzled look. "It is a children's book from the library. Reading goes easier when you do it out loud. What is this?" he asked, holding the cookie up.
