In the fifth floor common room, there was a girl, and this girl was currently sitting on the sofa, with a rolling pin in her hands. Of course, she had always thought of this useful culinary tool as a rofenflet, and she had not been lead to believe that it had anything to do with baking or dough ( Read more... )

James stared.

"Is that a new form of massage?" he asked, eyebrows raised, of the redhead who was currently using a kitchen appliance in a novel new way.

Hm? Ariel turned her head toward...that one guy she hadn't seen in a little while and tilted her head at his suggestion. Then she moved the rofenflet, giving it a good look, and she shrugged. Sure! She could see it working a bit like that...

...at which point a rather good idea came to her and she smiled sweetly at him, holding the device out to him a little before turning away, just enough that her back was mostly to him in what she thought was a very clear suggestion that he should give it a try, and she was willing to offer her back to help him out.

James had seen a rolling pin before. He'd been attacked by one, at least twice. Possibly three times; it was dark, it was heavy when it smashed into the wall, it was a kitchen, he didn't know.

But this was Fandom.

It disturbed him that he accepted that as a reason. He shrugged it off and grabbed the rofenflet rolling pin from her. Another shrug. He kneeled on the couch next to her and placed it at the top of her shoulders and started rolling it down her back, gently.

Oooh, now that felt...interesting. Almost instantly, Ariel felt her back arch a little in a squirm. It kind of tickled! Mostly just going over the shoulders like that. This was convincing her that it was really probably mostly for feet...

Spock entered the common room in search of sustenance (and, he supposed, interaction), saw the girl rolling her feet, and asked her bluntly, "What are you doing?"

Ariel glanced over at the boy entering the room, gave him a smile, and then nodded to her feet. Wasn't it obvious? She gave it a few more good rolls before then offering the rofenflet to him. Would he like to give it a try? She was probably good for at least a few more weeks.

"I thank you," Spock said gravely, "but I have no use for it at present." He didn't know how to bake anything, for one thing, and could not imagine why one would apply a rolling pin to their feet.

Ariel shrugged, because suit himself, and returned to her own rolling. She figured a little extra wouldn't hurt, and, besides, it kind of got to be a little fun after a while.
