In the fifth floor common room, there was a girl, and this girl was currently sitting on the sofa, with a rolling pin in her hands. Spock entered the common room in search of sustenance (and, he supposed, interaction), saw the girl rolling her feet, and asked her bluntly, "What are you doing?"

Ariel glanced over at the boy entering the room, gave him a smile, and then nodded to her feet. Wasn't it obvious? She gave it a few more good rolls before then offering the rofenflet to him. Would he like to give it a try? She was probably good for at least a few more weeks.

"I thank you," Spock said gravely, "but I have no use for it at present." He didn't know how to bake anything, for one thing, and could not imagine why one would apply a rolling pin to their feet.

Ariel shrugged, because suit himself, and returned to her own rolling. She figured a little extra wouldn't hurt, and, besides, it kind of got to be a little fun after a while.

And again, Ariel glanced over at the boy, though this time her expression was less amused, and much more plantation. She quirk a brow.

Why wouldn't she? Did she look like someone who'd want non-flat feet?

Should he know what she was doing? Because he didn't. Maybe it was one of those things teenage humans did for no readily apparent reason whatsoever. "I see. Carry on," he said, his tone mostly flat but with hints of 'baffled.'
