2nd Floor Common Room / July 5 / Morning

Asuna was feeling pretty energetic today but she still felt she needed a little more kick, Asuna entered the common room, looked around the cupboards, found what she needed and proceeded to brew a pot of coffee. After a few minutes brewing, Asuna poured herself a cup.

Mmmm... coffee!

"Good morning, Asuna," Jonas greeted after he'd wandered into the common room, mostly awake and enticed in by the aroma of coffee. "You're busy early."

"Good Morning," Asuna returned. "I woke-up energetic today." She waved to the coffee pot, "Have some coffee!"

"I've never tried coffee before," Jonas admitted though it did smell good. Different but good. "How does it taste?"

"You haven't?" Asuna asked, surprised. She didn't usually drink coffee but it still surprised her. "It tastes very good, although it depends how you like to take it. Some people like it with a lot of cream and sugar and there are people who don't like anything on their coffee."

Asuna felt she needed to share this with Jonas and brought out two cups pouring coffee on both. She put some cream and sugar on one cup. "Here why don't you see for yourself."

"That smells inviting," James said, picking up the odor of caffeine. "James," he said, indicating himself. "Mind if I have a cup?"

"Hello!" Asuna said, "I don't mind, have some!" She pointed to herself, "Asuna!"

"Thank you," he said, pouring a cup and savoring the aroma a bit before his first sip. "You're one of the new students?"

Not that James was an old student...

Asuna nodded, "New-ish, I came here for the first summer class."

It should come as no surprise to, oh, anyone that Maladicta made her way down to this common room. Sure, she already had a cup of her own coffee this morning, but this was a new roast.

"Is that for everyone?"

[ostianbelle]

Asuna grinned, "Of course! You're welcome to it!"

That earned her a half smile as Maladicta went to pour herself a cup. And then promptly savored the smell of it. "Are you new as well?"

"Sort-of," Asuna replied. "This would be my second summer term here." She held out her hand, "I'm Asuna Kagurazaka."

Alexander, with some time to kill before his very first lesson, could not help exploring the dormitory a bit. He did so carefully, slightly nervously, with an extreme air of caution. While he had a relatively free reign over where to go about in Daventry Castle, he had still always been nervous about a toe out of line. Because, before that, for the majority of his life, sneaking around meant a severe punishment and the threat of death.

Which, of course, never stopped him.

So Alexander stood still the moment he realized he'd come in the vicinity of other people on the second floor, having that terrible feeling of getting caught where he wasn't supposed to be wash over him. But it was a friendly feeling he was recieving, and this was not Manannan's castle. Besides, there was the incredibly alluring aroma of coffee drifting toward his nose...It could not be refused.

"Hello?" he asked, poking his head around the doorframe, half expecting to duck for something big and heavy being thrown at him, followed by a demand to get out.

"Hello," Asuna greeted, a little amused at what looked to her like a floating head. "Would you like to come in?"

"Yes, please," said Alexander, who at lease ceased to be a floating head, but had not moved far from the doorway. "If I may."

Asuna blinked. His politeness reminded Asuna of Negi. "Sure," she said, waving him in, "come in! We have coffee, would you like some?"

Leda followed the smell of coffee the moment her nose detected it. She may only be a recent convert to the ways of caffeine, but she was taking to it quite well.

"Morning all." she said upon entering. "Hi to all the new kids."

"Good morning," Asuna said, very cheerfully.

"Don't think we've met yet have we? I'm Leda."

"I don't think so," Asuna said. "But I'm Asuna."
