Fifth Floor Common Room [evening]

Despite the fact that Puck was still nursing his wounds from the other night, he decided to actually make an appearance in a common room tonight. He brought his guitar out with him to tune, idly plucking out chords as he ignored whatever was quietly on the TV

After the play, Raven returned to the dorms, and since she lived on the fifth floor, she passed through the common room. She paused to listen to the boy playing guitar, then frowned as she realized he was hurt. "Hello," she said, hoping he didn't mind her interrupting his playing.

"Hey," Puck said, glancing up. Oh, score, hot chick he didn't know. "Sorry if I'm, like, too loud or anything."

"Not at all," Raven said, smiling at him. "I found your music enjoyable, and I would not have interrupted if I had not noticed you have been injured recently."

"Oh. Yeah, it's nothing," Puck said, gesturing to his face and rolling his eyes. "Just some jackass with aggression issues who decided to take it out on me."

Because you lied about getting with the girl he liked, Puck.

Hayley was on the 'wrong' floor, but this didn't bother her one bit.

And she instantly was captivated by the cute boy with the guitar upon her entrance to the common room.

"Oooooh, what do you know how to play?

"Tons of stuff," he said, glancing up with a smile. "What do you want to hear?"

"Ya know any Elvis?" Hayley said, going for her usual favorite. "Cause I love Elvis. Like... as much as chocolate."

Puck did a little more tuning for a second before strumming out the opening chords of 'Hound Dog,' grinning at her before stopping. "As much as chocolate, huh?"

If there was one thing bound to draw Firekeeper (and by extension, Blind Seer) into a common room, it was the presence of music. Well, or Tony's vampire show. But in this case it was the music.

The two of them settled on the floor, leaning up against the couch. Firekeeper opened her mouth to offer a greeting, but then hesitated. A greeting was polite, but... so was not interrupting music, she knew. It was a dilemma.

Puck stopped playing when he spot her. "Hey, girl and dog! Is the music bugging?"

"Not dog," Firekeeper explained with (for her) a patient sigh. "Bugging?" that earned him a confused look, though.

"Wolf," Puck corrected with a smile. "I mean, is it bothering you? Too loud?"

Bruce was heading to his room when he heard the sound of a guitar. His first instinct was to keep going. His second instinct was to stop and glare at the noisemaker until he stopped.

He ended up going with his third instinct to prove to Jean that, yes, he did get out occasionally, even though he had studying to do for a final tomorrow.

"I didn't know you played," Bruce said. Not that he had any reason to know. He was still going to make not of this anyway. Turning to the rest of the room, he said, "Good evening."

"I play," Puck said with a nod, tossing off a little wave to Bruce. "Just not recently. 'Sup?"

"Not much until after my finals are over," Bruce said. "Fortunately I only have one more."

"Lucky. Mine don't start 'til Thursday," Puck sighed, plucking out a few random chords and then tuning the guitar a bit more.

"Hey, roomie," Roy said as he shuffled into the common room in search of food. "S'up?"

"Hey, dude," Puck called, leaning his head back to smile at Roy. "I'm avoiding finals. You?"

"Looking for food," Roy said. "And avoiding studying for my online classes' finals." He pulled a face. "Geometry. Yikes."

"Ew." Puck wrinkled his nose. "...why? I mean, why are you taking extra classes?"
