Mat--even though he had no way of receiving email--had a sixth sense when it came to finding fun.

He arrived in his standard breeches, white shirt, ridiculously embroidered silk coat and black scarf and glanced around for faces he recognized.

"Mat," Arthur greeted, lifting his (as of right now) unalcoholic drink. "I didn't know you knew Merlin."

Well, yes. There is food. And cake.

However if you're looking for something sweet, you'd best head towards the sushi. ... The sticky rice and mango sushi from Taste of Thai.

The cake, well.

The final package - if there were any at others - was simple, nameless, and contained eight neckerchiefs of varying shades and sizes.

The note simply read, They still look horrible.

After her conversation with Francine, Dinah picked up a few cashmere turtlenecks, then added in a couple CDs that she was pretty sure he'd like. (Not the one with 'Lady of Shallot' though).

With an elaborately curlicued note:

This certificate entitles the bearer to two (2) free internet explanations, or one really big ice cream sundae, to be redeemed at leisure. Negotiations possible, void where prohibited.

Tara had hitched her skirt up a bit for better control and tucked her shoes off to the side of the room as she lead Merlin to the ballpit.

"I should have known this would count as a present," she giggled.

"Well, if it's as fun as you say it is," Merlin replied, working on getting his own boots off.
