Mac woke up with a headache. Too much sugar, too much caffeine, and too much running around as a tiny person.

She groaned and rolled over, not with this 'waking up' idea at all.

Joan gave a feeble wave in the direction of the groan.

Mac opened one eye, catching the end of that wave.

"... How much ice cream did we eat?" she asked sleepily.

"Too much," Joan replied. She wondered if it was possible to have an ice cream hangover.

Peter? Totally asleep. And still in cuddle mode because that described Peter at pretty much any time no matter what age he was.

Joan finally opened her eyes when the person next to her cuddled closer.

And she realized it was Peter.

She cleared her throat.

Peter mumbled something about not wanting to wake up yet.

"Peter," Joan said quietly. "You have to wake up."

"I don't think that's going to work," Joan said. After all, she had tried it too.

"I know," Joan agreed. "I was telling Peter that I was kind of craving broccoli."

Summer eventually woke up, though she was still feeling tired. Being five was exhausting.

Naomi woke up sprawled out on the floor clutching her Flotter doll, she groaned and debated on whether or not she really wanted to wake up.
