Fourth Floor Common Room, Late Morning

Gwynn was dressed in her best dress and her hair was carefully done. There was no sign of her usual leather wear or her boots. In fact, there was nothing with her that even looked like she was the daughter of Robin Hood. Shawn's always been a believer in socialisation. So when he brought his packet of poptarts to a common room, he made sure it was the one that actually had someone in it. Even if it was a couple of floors out of his way.

Considering this is Fandom and he doesn't really know her, Shawn didn't notice anything remotely strange. Just waved briefly at Gwynn and greeted her with a fairly cheerful, "Morning," as he wandered over to the toaster.

Gwynn hid the magazine quickly and stood. "Good morning, good sir," she said with a curtsy.

Oh, he was a handsome one....

"Uh." Shawn paused momentarily. Then put his poptart packet down, deciding the best way forward in this situation was just to play along.

His knowledge of these things is a bit rusty, so he just gave a short bow, and returned a hesitant, "Morning... good lady?"

Gwynn smiled. "How are you this fine morning?"

Conner hadn't seen Lana since she'd left before he woke up yesterday morning, and he was a little bit sulky about this. So he was wandering the dorm looking for her.

. . . okay, seeing Gwynn when he checked the fourth floor was a slightly guilty-awkward moment.

"Hey, Gwynn . . . whoa, what's with the makeover?"

Gwynn smiled at him in confusion. "Greetings, Conner. Makeover? I'm not sure I understand what you mean."

He frowned a little and gestured at the dress. "You're all . . . extra girly today. What's up with that? And what are you reading?"

If he was quick enough before she hid it, he might have made out the letters "Vari" on the cover.

"But this is how a lady is supposed to dress."

It was his day off of both work and class so there was no reason he was up this early. Other than the need for food, or course. Teddy trudged into the common room to look for anything edible and maybe some coffee.

He nodded to the girl he saw there, not sure if they had met before. "Morning."

Gwynn smiled at him and gave a shy nod of her head. "Good morning, handsome sir."

Handsome sir? Now Teddy was sure he needed coffee because... buh? He blinked a few times and poured himself a cup and grabbing a box of cereal to eat dry. A healthy breakfast for him today.

He took a seat on the couch and offered the cereal to Gwynn because he was polite like that. "I don't think we've met, I'm Teddy."

Gwynn took some of the cereal. "Gwynn," she said sweetly.

John stumbled into the common room, half awake. Maybe they had coffee here...

Gwynn looked up as John came in and hid her magazine again. "Good morning, John."

"Hey, Gwynn, how's it going? How's your arm?" He waved. Coffee?

"It's going better now that you are here, John."

"Good morning, Tori and how are you this fine day?"

[notafairmaiden]

If she had been in her right mind, Gwynn would have said uncomfortable.

"I am also doing fairly well," she said with a smile.
